Beat in egg, then add choce olate. Sift flour with baking soda and salt. Add to the creamed mixture alter- nately with milk, Stir to a smooth batter, Drop by heaping teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet, Flour the bottom of a glass 2 inches in diamter and use to flatten out cookies, Bake in a moderately hot oven (375°F) for 10-12 minute. These cookies | are a cake type cookie and are good served plain or frosted. To turn into half-moon cookies, frost half of each cookie with melted sweet chocolate and the other half with confectioners! sugar frosting. The Gerow's also have Alf's Mother, Mrs. Fred Gerow of Rossport visiting with them this week, : Majorie and Glen Baillie with son Bill have been visiting the past two weeks with Glen's parents, Mr. and Mrs, Bill Baillie. Mr. and Mrs, Baillie met their plane in the Lakehead on their arrival and they motored to Winnipeg to spend the Thanksgiving weekend. They will return Monday to the Lakehead for their flight home to Toronto. Bella Begin spent last week in Rouyn, Quebec attending a Hairdressing Convention. She travelled with her sister, Florence Begin at Hearst, Ont. Mrs. J. MacDonald of Fort William was the guest of her daughter Joyce MacKenzie and family last weekend. Mrs. Jan Nelson had as her guest last week, Mrs, Martha Nelson and grand- child of Red Rock, Betty and Forbes Cruickshanks visited with Forbes parents, Mr. and Mrs, A, Cruickshanks of Fort William last week, They were accompanied by Vange and Ron Slattery. Mrs. F, Ford of Pine Falls visited with her daughter Kay Anderson last week. She was accompanied by her daughter Margaret Ford, also of Pine Falls, Man., and another daughter, Mrs. Florence Dandenault of Ste. Pierre, Manitoba with her two children Paulette and Paul, Joyce Sitch, in training at the Port Arthur General, was down to visit her parents, Mr, anti Mrs. Charlie Sitch for Thanksgiving. 0-0-0 NOTE OF THANKS I would like to take this ngeahbuallig to express my sincerest gratitude and thanks to Dr. McCausland and Dr. Rundle, Nurses and staff of the Terrace Bay Private Hospital for the consideration and care given to me during my recent stay in the Hospital, .
