His duties have included the.organization and administration of sport, arts, crafts, music and other aspects ofa full recreation program, He has also looked after a full waterfront program and+has sponsored -play- ground work, He has also done much icoach«= ing and training. in many activities, Ken is.an honour graduate of the U.B.C. public recreation course and has completed two years of the Ontario In-Service Train- ing Course, .He is a qualified Red Cross swin instructor and has been responsible for annual organization of the Gravenhurst regatta and Canadian Water Ski Championships. In winter he has operated the arena 'and in addition to setting up, schedules has coached several boys hockey teams and organ- ized figure skating classes. Married with one child both Mr, and Mrs, Ward are looking forward to their new assign- ment in Terrace Bay.
