Brian returned recently from their motor trip to Trout Creek, Ontario to visit with Irene's Mother, Mrs, Loretta Evers at the Evers Hotel and with Ted's Brother Pam McInnes and family, the manager of the Evers Hotel. Pineault played the wedding music while Mrs, A, Gerow was soloist, Attending the bride were Mrs. Donna * Dorigo of Port Arthur as Matron of Honour, Miss Ina Hopper of Port Arthur and Miss Myrna Wainwright of Red Rock, Groomsman was Don Graham of Nipigon, while George McDermid of Terrace Bay and Bruae Dorigo of Port Arthur ushered, Escorted to the altar by her Father, the bride wore a gown of brocaded satin fashioned on princess lines. The bodice featured a manderin collar with sheer yoke of illusion net, appliqued scallops out- lining the decolletege, and closely molded sleeves pointed over the wrists, The bouffant skirt, floor length, was accented by side paniers of the brocaded satin caught with large bows, Her chapel veil of illusion net fell from a scalloped halo of net outlined in pearls, the veil encrusted with patterns of iridescent sequins throughout, and she wore (Cont. on next col.) WATAJA-DUFFY NUPTIALS (Cont. ): brocaded slippers. 66 match her gown and carried a cascade of red rosés, Attendants were identically frocked in strapless gowns 6f embroidered nylon over tiered net and: teffeta with snugly moulded bodice featuring" pleated, basques with matching nylon -boleross. Mrs, Dorigo was in yellow and carried a colonial bouquet of mauve and yellow baby mums, while Miss Hopper and Miss-Wainwright were in pale blue and carried Colonial bouquets of yellow baby mums, ~~ A wedding breakfast at Hotel Terrace for the immediate family and attendants followed the ceremony, while in the evening & reception was held in the Arena, Rec- reation Centre, For receiving the bride's mother chose a pale blue dress of slub with bolero top, all pink accessories and corsage of pink roses, The groom's mother received in a dark blue crepe dress with long sleeves and pleated skirt. Navy accessories and corsage of pink roses completed her ensemble, The bride's table covered in a white linen cloth, held the four-tiered wedding cake, set amid the wedding bouquets, A bride and groom, and wedding bells topped the cake and the individual layers were held aloft by swans, Cutting the cake was Mrs, E, Gaune, while servitors were Mrs, J, LeBlanc, Mrs, W. Mantey, Misses M, Mahoney, G, Nadeau and D. Lohr. Miss Carol Holford circulated the guestbook, Mr. Don Graham proposed the toast to the bride, For her wedding trip to the Lake of the Woods, the bride wore a summer suit of yellow with white hat and gloves, brown shoes and purse. Mr. and Mrs, Duffy will take up residence in Port Arthur where the groom has been recently transferred with the 'Provincial Police, rs Prior to her marriage the bride was entertained at a kitchen shower at the home of Mrs, W.
