Friday is the big day, so please note - COLOURFUL MOTHER GOOSE PARADE - that is July 27th at 9:30 a.m. beginning at the Recreation Centre. ALL children are encouraged to join in the fu and wear a costume to denote a nursery character, like Jack and Jill, or Little Bo Peep, etc., or their favourite fairy tale figure like Goldylocks or Hansel and Gretel, etc. There will be floats on the truck and various noise-makers, as the Pied Piper leads his flock of the people in Storyland throughout the streets of Terrace Bay, We all come back again to the Centre for a special treat. FUTURE ACTIVITIES Next week, if enough fathers are willing and feeling fit, we plan to have a Father and Son baseball game, where boys of 8 years of age and over, will compete in a strenuous ball game with the big pros, their dads. Refreshments will be served. This is to be Community Night, where we would like to see the whole family turn out, Sometime in August the mothers will have a chance to partake in a Mother and Daughter ball game, This is a warning to all mothers, so be prepared! Over the weekend, the boys are to take home a written form on which the fathers are asked to sign, indicating their presence at this terrific baseball game, It will possibly be held Tuesday July 31st, at 6:30 p.m. Further notice will be given, On Friday, August 3rd, our playground kiddies await the company of the children of Marathon, who plan to partake in fun and games all that day, A hike to the Falls may be scheduled, and later the whole troup may enjoy an afternoon of various water sports and contests at the beach, Talent is beginning to show now amongst all the children, including Juniors, Inter- mediates and Seniors, In the middle of Aug- ust, a Drama Night will be held, when almost all' our playground kiddies may have a chance to demonstrate their ability in acting, singing, playing musical instruments, dancing, and the art of puppetry. Of course, the parents won't want to miss it. A water-skiing display was put on and those taking part in showing this fine art are to be commended, Next Sunday, July 29th the members of the K, of C. are holding a Communion Break- fast at the Schreiber Hotel, All members are urged to attend the 10 a.m, Mass, A guest speaker from cut of town will be heard at the breakfast, Price per plate - 75¢. The St. Edward's Council are sponsoring the 3rd Annual Open Air Mass to be held in the ballfield in Schreiber at 4:00 p.m. on August 12th, Everyone in the district is cordially invited to attend this Mass,
