The wind could quite easily blow an ember into the bush and cause another fire, ---- = WADING POOL This week-end our wading pool will be open from 12 until 5:00 p.m. - Unsupervised, Parents who wish to bring their children over may do so, Again, as playground gets underway, we will have supervision at. this pool for the children's safety. --_---- TENNIS We would like to encourage more. people to participate in the game of tennis. Until now the courts have been locked because of damage and bicycle riding in this area. We feel that in order to get members, we first must have the people enjoy the game, so for the months of July and August, the courts will be open until damage or misuse is evident, Only paid members may enter any tournaments that the club may offer. 0-0-0 Page 7 TERRACE BAY DERBY & DANCE JUNE 29 & 950 the time is getting closer for the biggest and best dance of the season = Cabaret Style - on June 29 in the High School Auditorium, Next day the Terrace Bay Derby is going to be run with bigger and better prizes than ever, Any out of town guests can secure overnight accomodations at Hotel Terrace or the North Camp, Here are a few of the prizes -- )(A $1.00 ticket takes one person to the Dance, the Derby or both)- Dance Friday night Derby all day Saturday.
