Full details on page ° 0-0-0 JOHN A. FERRIER NEW PLANT ENGINEER FOR LONGLAC PULP AND PAPER CO. LID. On June 1l, 1956 John Ferrier arrived in Terrace Bay to take over his new duties as Plant Engineer for the LongLac Pulp & Paper Co. Ltd. Mr, Ferrier hails from the Ottawa Valley. He graduated in Mechanical Engineer- ing from Queen's University at Kingston, Ontario, During the war from 1942 to 1945 he served in the Royal Canadian Navy with the rank of Lieutenant Engineer. After his war service Mr.Ferrier joined the Spruce Falls Power & Paper Co. in 1945 where he was the Maintenance Engineer, As a former "Kap" employee Mr, Ferrier is having the pleasure of renewing friend- ships with Terrace Bay people from Kapuskasing. In February 1955 he was transferred to Staff Engineering at Neenalt, «Wisconsin from where he was assigned to his new position in Terrace Bay. At Staff (cont. on page 6)
