') oo @l. on & c ee 9 L RECIPE OF THE WEEK BANANA CAKE 2-1/2 cups sifted cake flour 2-1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder Lg teaspoon salt 1/2 cup all-purpose oil 1-1/4 cups mashed ripe bananas po eggs 1/2 cup milk 1-1/2 cups sugar Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Add oil, bananas, and milk. Beat until the mixture forms a very stiff batter. In a separate bowl, beat eggs until thick and foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until very well blended, Fold egg~sugar mixture into first batter, Pour into 2 greased and floured 9 x 1-1/2 inch round layer cake pans. Bake in a 375°F, (mod- erate) oven about 30 minutes. Election of officers for the forthcoming season will be conducted and reports of the year's accomplishments presented. A very interesting film has been secured on auditory and visual aid in the school.
