(Kiwanis International was established in Detroit). Other peace markers were set up by U.S, or Canadian clubs working singly, in pairs or in groups, as the years went by. Plans are currently in progress to set up addit- ional markers before the end of 1956, Inspiration for the 25 Kiwanis peace markers was furnished by the establishment in 1925 of the Kiwanis International Good Will Memorial in. Stanley Park, Vancouver, B.C.
