Mrs, Maitland visited for three weeks in Toronto, Whitby, Bradford and eee Buffalo before returning home, Ed Zislke returned last Tuesday from a two week visit to Toronto where he wmderwent some First hand training as Insurance Agent. While in Toronto he met Dr, Thompson (Dentist) formerly of Schreiber, who asked . to be remembered to all his many friends ; at Terrace Bay and Schreiber. He also visited with his brother and family, Mr. and Mrs, Ernest Zielke of Kitchener, Ontario. A surprise party was held.at the home of Miss Joyce Sitch for Judy Holford who has left for Hamilton to complete her education,. The evening was very gaily spent with Novelty Dances and games and a delicious luncheon was served, Judy was presented with a lovely going away gift from her many friends, o-O-0 LADIES CURLING CLUB , F Saturday evening a Mixed Social was held in the Curling Club Lounge to wind up the year's activities of the Terrace Bay Ladics Curling Club. In charge of entertainment were Mary Hale and Elicia Evans-Smith and the guests enjoyed mixed curling, games and dancing during the evening, The Annual meeting of the Ladies Curling Club was held Tuesday evening April 24th in the Club room with President Elsie Ostling presiding.
