ICE FROLICS OF '56 will be presented by the Terrace Bay Figure Skating Club in the Terrace Bay Arena this coming Saturday, March 2hth, There will be two performances, one in the afternoon starting at 1:30 p.m, and the evening performance at 8:90 p.m. This skating extravaganza will feature a cast of over 100 local skaters and five talented artists from the Port Arthur Thunder Bay Figure Skating Club. Tickets now available from any club member or at the rink box office prior to each performance, Adults 75¢ - Students 50¢ - Children 25¢ BE SURE TO SEE ICE FROLICS OF '56 -- WE KNOW YOU'LL ENJOY IT, o-O0-0 TERRACE BAY JUVENILES WIN NORTH SHORE GHAMPTONSHIP Last Saturday night the Terrace Bay Juveniles beat the Marathon team for their second consecutive victory as North Shore Champions, The Terrace Bay team beat Marathon two games straight out of a best of three series, Previously they had eliminated Schreiber in a best of three series, On Saturday night the Terrace team were presented with the Chapple Trophy emblematic of North Shore Juvenile supremacy. (Cont. on next col.) TERRACE BAY JUVENILES WIN NORTH SHORE CHAMPIONSHIP (Cont, ) The Terrace team will soon play the Lakehead winner for the Northwest Ontario championship. The team will pick up three players and the best of five series with the Lakehead should be terrific hockey. Watch for dates of these games as some will be played in Terrace Bay. BANTAM HOCKEY The Terrace Bantam team are currently tied with Marathon at a game a piece for the Bantam crown, Sunday, March 25th at 4:30 will be game time for this third game, Support the Bantams, ~OnQ=0 MARATHON MERCURIES-PORT ARTHUR BEARCATS SPLIT GAMES IN LOCAL ARENA Terrace Bay hockey fans have been for- tunate enough to have had the first two games of the Northwest Ontario Intermediate Hockey playoffs at the local Arena, Tuesday night the Mercuries, N.S.H.L, Champs upset the Bear Cats with the first win in the series, Wednesday night the Bear Cats won to tie the best of three series.
