Volume 6, No, 11 HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION MEETING MARCH 1 The regular monthly meeting of the Terrace Bay Home and: School Association will be held Monday, March 19th at 8:15 p.m. in the High School Auditorium, For the programme the Association has secured Mr. J, H. Adams of Toronto who is coordinator for Civil Defense for Ontario and will be our guest speaker, Mr, Adams will be able to enlighten everyone on the protection of our school children and will follow his talk with a film, This programme should prove to be highly in- formative and of interest to every parent as it does concern our children vitally. Don't forget to register at the meeting in favour of your child's room and school. The attendance shield last month was won again by Miss Claxton's grade one pupils. Miss Claxton's pupils won by just one point over Miss Hunt's class in St. Martin's Separate School. At the Public School Miss Bradshaw's Grade two pupils were the shield winners, o-0-0 ATTENTION - DOG OWNERS Because of the possibility of rabies infection in this area all Dogs must be leashed or confined at all times, Dogs MUST NOT be allowed to run free from 8:00 p.m, to 11:00 p.m as heretofore allowed, The police have been requested to rigidly enforce this order, Dog owners who wish to have their dog immunized against rabies and are prepared to pay for the cost of the vaccine ($1.25) may contact Dr, M. LARGEST CIRCULATION IN TERRACE BAY March 15th, 1956, NORTH SHORE MINOR LEAGUE PLAY-OFF GAMES SATURDAY At the local arena Saturday night the Terrace Bay Bantams and the Terrace Bay Juveniles take on the Marathon teams in a 2 out of 3 series for the North Shore Championship. Wednesday night Ernie Schock's Bantam!s travelled to Marathon and won the first game.in the Bantam series 9-8, The Terrace Bay squad had to fight from behind for this victory, Terrace goals were Schock 4, Pletzer 3 and Wig 2. The Juveniles play their first game this Saturday. So come on hockey fans - be at the arena this Saturday. 7:00 p.m. Bantam Game 8:30 pm. Juvenile Game o~0=0 TERRACE LADIES VS.
