Le Checkryn 142, 179, 145-466. 0-0-0 FIGURE SKATING NEWS PARENTS PLEASE NOTE Last week we published a list of the various groups of skaters and the time of the lesson for each group, We asked that parents make a note of the group their child or children are in and see that they are ready at the teaching patch at the time stated for the lesson. We would like to stress this point again, as so many skaters are not ready for their lesson and this holds back the rest of the group who have made the effort to be on time. If you want your child. to take full advantage of the skating lesson, it is up to you, the parents, to see that they are ready for their lesson with their skates done up properly. From now on during the Figure Skat- ing sessions the ice surface will be divided into three parts, From 4:00 = to 4: *m,.--the,-ice will be divided as follows ~- End Section - teaching patch, Center Section - Figures only, East End Section - General skating for beginners and small children, From 4:45 to 6:00 pem. - the ice will be divided as follows - End Section - teaching East End Section - Groups 1 to IV, Center Section - Groups V to X. Remember: Skaters who missed a lesson last week, will have the opport- unity of taking it this Saturday, November 19th, Please note the following times for each group. 2:30 pm. - Group II 2:50 pem. - Group IV 3:10 pom. - Group VI 3:30 pem. - Group VII 3:50 pem. - Group VIII A portion of the ice will be roped off for lessons during the public skating time.
