Sponsored by the St, Edward Council, Knights of Columbus, St. Edward's Council 3554, the mass was oslebrated by Father McHugh, Chaplain of St. Edward's. The sermon "What Constitutes a Devout Catholic and a Good Parishioner", was given by Father St. James, Port Arthur, Father Morris of Terrace pee was " sub-deacon and Father Greengrass of Marathon, was Deacon. - Father Roenicke, Red Rock explained the mass symbolism, George Bourguignon, St. Peter's Seminary, London, was master of ceremonies. Peter Peterson, Elkhart, Indiana, was cross-bearer, Patrick Humenicki, banner-bearer, and Raymond Guillet, master of serving. Bart Cebrario was censor-bearer, Jim Duggan and Bob McParland were alcolytes, and Geno Caccamo marshalled the parade. A color guard formed by 14 fourth degree knights of the Father Baxter Assembly and led by E. Elvish, district deputy, and L, Salini, faithful. pilot, paraded from the church accompanied by 55 knights and 34 girls in their first communion gowns. Many visitors from the Lakehead and as far as Baird attended and marched in the parade, Following the services a dinner was © held for the local executive and out-of- - town officers and their ladies at the Schreiber Hotel.
