Karen are visiting with Mr, Taylor's sister, Isobelle Craig on their return from Mont- real to their home in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan, Mrs. Rita Cavanaugh was hostess to the February meeting of the Dim Bulbs at her home Monday evening. Lois Haviland presided and minutes: were read by Mary Byscrs. Treasurer's report was given by Eleanor Ruzyski, Bridge was the entertainment for the evening and Ev Garvin was the lucky winner of first prize with the booby going to Mary Byers. A lovely luncheon was served~ by the hostess assisted by Lil Harris. The next meeting will be held March 29th at the home of Lois Haviland, o-0--0 LADIES CURLING CLUB NEWS "The Hospitality Rug" was rolled out and visitors to the "Terrace Bay Ladies" lst Arnus]. Bonspiel were welcomed over the weekend, Curlers from Fort William, --- Schre a Marathon, Nipigon and Red Rock all took part in the 'Spiel. Saturday night, the ladies took time off from curling bo "stage their annual Banquet which was held at the Hotel Terrace, * Contributing to the entertainment of the evening was E, Garvin at the Keyboard, Here are a.few briefs from the Ladies Curling Club with highlights of the recent _Bonspiel, Gurling started: Friday night with 16 rinks participating. Saturday found the various rinks branching off into the different events. Triumphant among 16 rinks convened from 6 centers was P, Wellings! rink, This quartet, took a last end win from Mrs. Gellert Schreiber, _ A, Latour placed 3rd and D, Shrier 4th in the main event, The prizes were presented by S. Jacobsen, He represented the Hudson Bay Company who donatedthe prizes for this event, "Jen Faust and her' rink took lst in the 2nd event sponsored by the merchants, in this wind-up N.
