Schreiber won the Badminton, hands down; Marathon won the Bowling; Terrace Bay won the Curling; Nipigon won the Girls! Basketball, Marathon the Boys! Basketball; and: Terrace Bay the Hockey. We are sorry that such good sports as the Geraldton students failed to win one of the events, We might be prepared to grant them our win in Curling as long as they let us keep our Hockey win. To date the only two schools ever to win the Goldfield hockey trophy in ten years of competition has been Geraldton (6 times) and schreiber (4 times}. We are therefore particularly proud of that win.
