Nelson congratulated the winners and Mrs and Mrs, Fedorak expressed their sincere thanks to the Kiwanis for sponsoring this event, In conjunction with the 40th Kiwanis Anniversary Observance held January 25th under the Education and Training Committee a suitable birthday cake complete with 5 candles marking the Fifth Anniversary of the Terrace Bay Kiwanis Club, graced the speaker's table, Reverend Arthur Lavender was called to to blow out these candles which jcb he undertook with Baste Al McColl, the committee chairman consented on the progress Kiwanis Inter- national have mace.during 40 years of service and Al went on to cover the high: lights the local club has undergone in 5 years .of service to our community. © oe owe KIWANIS CHURCH N "Sunday, - February 27th, has been set by the Church committee of the Kiwanis Chub of Terrace Bay as Father and Son Sunday. When ona Brin or lead, accompanied by the owner or some other competent person, 2. Dogs may be permitted to run at large between the hours of 8:00 pem. and 11:00 p.m. daily. 2B A fine of $5.00 for each and every infraction of this section will be collected by the Provincial Police officer, and failure to pay such fine renders such owner liable to have his or her dog destroyed as provided for by this By-Law", Effective immediately, this By-Law is going to be rigidly enforced. Improvement District of Terrace Bay, 0-0-0 DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CONCERT SERIES The Willy L Blok Hanson trio which appeared at the Highschool Auditorium January 26th wes indeed a most pleasant evening's performance, Mrs. Hanson had her sister, Miss Charlotte de Neve and Mr. Garbut Roberts as her supporting cast, We, of Terrace EBay are very fortunate and feel a sense of deep gratitude and appreciation to have seen such a performance of outstanding merit, beautifully timed which proved without a doubt that Willy Blok Hanson is.a master of her craft, She also has the added power of imparting her mastery to others and tangible evidence of sound training, which certainly indicates that movement can indeed be a finerart. 0-0-0 HOME AND SCHOOL ASSOCIATION The Home and School Association wish to express' their gratitude to all those who turned out on such a bitterly cold day to make their Bake Sale such a success, o-~0--0
