Up to now the public, both adults and children aave been misusing our seating facilities in the arena, by walking over them with and without skates. In case of a boy or girl being sick a friend may take their gift card to the party and get their (Cont. on next col,) Page 5 RECREATION FLYER (Cont, ) Registration for the Community Christmas Party for the Children gift from Santa, CHILDREN'S LETTERS TO SANTA There will be a special box left by Santa in the lobby of our post office for the Children's letters, No stamp is needed for Santa's mail, The starting date for Santa's letters will be December 5th and then in order for Santa to get these letters the box will be gone at the end of the week, December 11th, NOTICE This is a special notice to the parents and to the children. ALL children under the age of 16 yr. and not accompanied by an adult must be out of the Recreation Centre by 9:00 Pem. This does not mean however that because a child is with his parents that he or she may continue to skate in the Adult sessions, HOBBY SHOW Anyone wishing to enter the Hobby Show must have their entry at the Recreation Centre on Thursday, December and, 1954. C-Ceac KIWANIS CLUB NEWS On Tuesday, November 23rd, the Kiwanis Club held their annual Kiwanis Education night. This is a night when the Club members review the work of Kiwanis on an international scale as well as on a Club level. Reverend A, Lavender, the immediate past-president was in charge of the program, Bert Laundy, Al McColl and Bill Borsum as former Club presidents outlined the Terrace Bay Club's history of operation since its formation in 1949. Tuesday, November 30 the Kiwanis members took over the Curling Rink for some social curling, On Wednesday, M, 0. Nelson, President for 1955 and Tom Smith Secretary for 1955 returned from Regina where they attended < training school of Kiwanis International. ; (Cont. on page 7)
