HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY Those who wish to join the Society should do so before October 30th as the number of members at that wtime will determine the amount of the grant we will receive from the Government. Final arrange- ments are being made for a meeting to officially organize a Horticultural Society in Terrace Bay. Winners may pick up same at Warehouse Wicket. - 0-0-0 PULP AND PAPER MILL WORKERS TO MEET A meeting of the Thunder Bay Assoc- iation of Pulp and Paper Mill workers will be held in the High School Auditor- ium, at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24th. There will be delegates from all the mills in this area who will be discussing the various problems of their mills, Bro, Garriock, President of the Ontario and Manitoba Council will be present to give an interesting address. All_ members of Local 665 are urged to attend. So lets have a good turn out to welcome the delegates from the various mills, - a-O0-0 CURLING NEWS The complete lists of experienced and inexperienced Curling Club member for the 1954-55 season has been prepared and will be posted on the bulletin board near the ~ time clocks at 8:00 a.m, Friday, October 22nd. Anyone forming a rink will be required to select at least one member from the inexperienced list, As rinks are formed it is urgently requested thet skips forward the names of team personnel immediately to Curly Hale, adressed either to the Engineering Office or to P, 0, 162. Only if skips forward this information promptly can the posted lists of club members still available to other skips for selection be kept up-to-date, 0-0-0 LAUNDRY The North Camp Laundry Depot will be closed permanently on October 30th, Soiled clothing may be left at the Hotel Laundry. 0-0-0
