BASEBALL NEWS Terrace Bay Wins Twice Last week-end Terrace Bay won twice over Heron Bay in the North Shore League Finals to put them one game up in the seriss. The game at Marathon loeked like an casy win for Terrace as Heron Bay played poor ball, Terrace Bay outclassed them and discouraged them picking up seven runs in the third inning. Bill Borsum on the mound had good support as the infield and outfield didn't miss many, | Final score Terrace Bay 14 Heron Bay 7. Sunday's game in Terrace Bay saw a smoother working Heron Bay Club. They were.a much improved team over the Saturday game. A few errors by Terrace soon put Heron Bay in the lead and it looked like their game, In the bottom of the sixth the score was Heron Bay 6 Terrace Bay 3. Schritt, Krahn got hits to get on, Osmar got on as he was hit by a pitched ball. There weretwo away, the bases were loaded, Borsum at bat. Pitcher's aren't noted for their hitting ability, but Borsum cleared the bases with a two bagger giving Terrace a 7 to 6 lead. Terrace Bay never looked back to win 8 to 6, . Marathon and Terrace Bay, it is expected that two hundred dollars will be passed around in prizes. What with the big stakes, you can rest assured the visitors will be their locales best players, All games will be of seven innings excepting the finals which will be nine innings, Admission to these games will be through supporter tags at twenty-five cents each which entitles holder to see all games of that day only. This same policy will be adopted for the following day's games which will be covered with a different coloured tag.
