PLAYGROUND CHATTER We would like to inform dre parents who have children coming to our play- ground program that if the children leave the playgrourndfor the beach by bus that they must return by bus rather to take it on-their own and walk home alone, This applied especially to the 4-7 yr, old, group, If the parents wish to come to the beach and drive their own children home by car, please notify one of the beach staff before doing so, The playground was primarily designed to take care of children in the age group of 4-13 yrs. including those who are now 3 yrs. and will be 4 yrs. by September, There have been several children under this age coming with their older brothers or sisters, This is causing quite an upset to our program, so we would like to see the parents help us out here by not letting them tag along with those who come to the playground, There is a special trip coming up on August 4th for all those of the play- ground who are between the ages of 6-13, There will be more about this in the next issue of the "News", On Friday, July 23dd, there will be a coloured film on swimming shown at the Auditorium at 1:30 p.m. This is for all playground children and those enrolled | in the swim program at the beach, Last week we asked for the co-operation of the parents in making sure that the children did not go directly to the wading pool, We would ask again, that the parents assist us in seeing that all of the child-~ ren who are taking part in the Playground Program, first report to the Continuation School at 9:30 asm. and again at 1:30 ° Pem. in order that we can have proper supervision assigned to each activity. 0-0-0 TEENAGE ACTIVITY TO COMMENCE JULY 23RD.
