A resolution was passed by the ti. rovement District Board and approved by the Minister of Education and the Depart- ment of Municipal Affairs to dissolve the present Continuation School Board-ir December 1954, and to appoint a4 new High School Board of Trustees to be effective January 1, 1955. Most of this time he was euployed as a mill watch- man and during his tour of duty at the mill entrance, Mike -had a few jovial words with most all his fellow employees as they reported for work. Mike had. a sense of humour which he displayed to the boys as they came on or off shift. Mike will be missed at the watchman's station by'all the employees, Mike was born in Czechoslovakia, He came to Canada in 1926. He served.in the Canadian Army for three years with the. Engineers, . He was in the Terrace Bay reserve army unit for four years, Mike is survived by his wife Helen Kosco of Terrace Bay and a step-son Odon Ostrowski, a University student who is at present working at the mill. Funeral services were held in . |. Schreiber on Tuesday, July 20th, where ~~; -anternment took place. The pall bearers at the service were L, Hamar, S. Sztukowski, L. Petrus, W.
