BASEBALL ANAR BEAT TERRACE 6- ON JULY 15ST. On Thursday, July lst before a sell- out crowd in Terrace Bay, the highly rated ANAF team from Fort William had anything but an easy time downing Terrace Bay 6-4, Bill Borsum handled Terrace Bay's pitching for nine innings and held ANAF - to eight hits. - The Terrace Bay boys may have been. a little tense playing against the Fort William powerhouse. In the first two innings they got six hits for 3 runs. For the remainder of the game Borsum held them to two hits, ANAF used up two pitchers. In the eighth putting in Onulak, the boy who played professional baseball in the States, The Terrace Bay team played good ball. Jim Moro looked real good as he cracked out a single, a double and a triple. The "kids" were hot. Bill Marsh on third made some beautiful plays, and Ray Stachiw made some big league catches out in centre field. The fans saw a good ball game, tesms played good clean baseball.
