Fire today forced seven persons, in- cluding three children, ranging from six to.fifteen years, from a Hillsview Avenue home owned by Anthony Berskis. Firemen battled the blaze for about. fifteen minutes before bringing it under ~~ _ control. Damage was estimated at $1,500. ~~ Cause was careless smoking, firemen said. Mr. Berskis was awakened by smoke. He woke his wife'and a visiting aunt. Effective immediately the office will be open from 9:00 to 12:00 noon and 1:00 to 5:00 p.m, daily, Monday through Friday and from 9:00 till 11:00 a.m, on Saturdays. It is also to be understood that during the months of July and August, whenever an event is being held in the School during an evening or week-end, that a member of the Recreation Staff will be in the office on duty.
