MIXED LEAGUE Rockets were the big guns this week picking up a total of 22 pts to put them in the running for the last series. VJapt. C. Sitch led his cohorts with 201, 154 & 232 for a total of 587, E. Boutilier threw in a nice 239 in the second game when it was needed to boost the team score, The Gutter Pups with P, Dowling again leading the. way with 174, 216 & 263 (hi single for the night) for hi triple of 653, The 19 pts picked up by the Pups put them back up into second place, The Superiors are still in there fighting for a playoff spot picking up 15 pts Tuesday to better themselves, The Slowpokes with the addition of a couple of new faces are starting to pick up the necessary points and shouid make it uncomfortable for the leaders if theykeep up thepace, The Gin Pills need another s hot in the arm to pull them- selves out of their slump to make that spot they have been after this series, The Pin Dusters just shouldn't play on Sundays.
