Concluding the business of the meeting, the teachers will speak on the following points: . 1. The teacher shortage and what we can do about it --- Dave Locking. 2, The basis of promotion - Helen Van Stavern, ia 4 3. Undesirable comic books - A member of the Separate School Staff. 4. Individual help for the slow learner absentees, etc. - Charles Briggs. 5. A short discussion period on any of the above points; questions from the audience answered by the teachers. There will also be a display of Hobb» and Handicraft work done in connection with the various subjects in the elementary schools, Coffee will be served during and after the display. The meeting will be held on Monday evening, February 15th at 8:15 p.m. in the Public School, and promises to be of interest to all parents. Everyone Welcome! 0-0-0 RECREATION MEMBERSHIP CARDS Recreation trembership cards are. now being completed and it is heped that we Shall have them all ready for distribution at the beginning of next week, 'These cards are bang made out in each case, for *' the person making the payment, if married, the wife also receives one and so will all children who are attending school, with the exception of those attending Kinder--- earten, All other dependents such as mothers--in-law, etc., are considered to be part of the family group. and therefore will also receive cards. If when the cards are distributed, we have overlocked anyone in this last category, please advise Ossie Palzell, who will see that the cards are issued. Please remember to keep these cards handy at all times, if you don't carry it with you, keep it in a safe' place where you can readily put you hands on it, as you may be asked to produce it when registering with any one of the various active groups in town, 0-0-0
