CREDIT UNION NEWS 4nnual Meeting - What it Means to You For the past three years the Terrace Bay Community Credit Union has been holding 4nnual Meetings. At these meetings the Board of Directors inform the members of the activities the Credit Union performed during the past year. AS a Credit Union is owned and operated by the members, it is necessary at the Ann- ual Meetings to elect new officers or return same. This year there are three vacancies on the Board of Directors, one on the Credit Committee, and one on the Supervisory Commi- ttee, Before the Annual Meeting the Board of Directors elect a nominating committee to contact prospective officers, but this does not mean that it is a cut and dried election, At the Annual Meeting the President calls for nominations from the floor, If you would like to hold office in the Credit Union, have a member nominate you and then it will be up to the members present to vote you into office, This being our fourth Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors have planned a lunch and movie after the business session, To sum up the Credit Union's Annual Meeting, it means to you: 1. The opportunity to hold office, 2. The opportunity to nominate a member yau feel will be a credit to the Credit Union and also the Credit Union movement, 3. The opportunity of suggesting changes and improvements for the coming year, 4. The opportunity of helping te make the Annual Meeting a success, 5. The opportunity of meeting your fellow Credit Union members, All in all this is YOUR meeting, DON'T FORGET THE TIME AND PL.CE THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5th, 1953 ST, MARTIN'S CHURCH - 8:00 PM SHRP o-0-0 MEN'S FIVE PIN LE..GUE Snowbanks, by their win over the Whiz- bangs, climbed into a first place tie with Steam in the 3rd series race.
