Ono fact alone, that Harry Hall of the Motor Mechanics crew ceught himself a 31 pound 10 ounce Leake Trout to take first prize is ind- icative of the class of the whole Derby, Other prize winners were:- 2nd - Sten Hodg- kiss (23 lbs, 3 ozs,)3 3rd = Joyce Clifton - (21 lbs, 7 ozs.); 4th ~ Maurice Kulcheski - (21 lbs. 5 ozs.); 5th -- Runey Ostling (19 lbs, 2 ozs.); 6th = F, Rone (17 lbs, 1 oz.)3 7th ~ Mrs, J. Whent (16 lbs. 14 ozs,); 8th - Jim MacDonald (16 lbs, 8 ozs.); 9th - Thor Olsen (16 lbs. 5 ozs.)3; 10th - Semmy Boyd - (1 lb, nil ozs,) -(Grand Champion), Other prizes (hardly worth mentioning, except to prove to some sceptics elsewhere that we do eatch FISH eround these here arts) were Dick Lumbers with 15 lbs, 1 oz, W. Miller - 12 lbs. 14 ozs., and E, Henry with 12 lbs, 7 ozs, Hardly worth bringing into the bont, ch fellas! It is sincerely hoped thet the Fish Derby will now become an Annual Affair and increase in magnitude and popularity each year.
