Weve" STAGE SHOW ek CANCE The Calgary Range Riders, a talented group of musicians from out West, will be with us for two nights next week ~- Tuesday and Wednesday, jugust 28th and 29th, Each night will feature a stage show of high class. calibre, starting at 8:30 p.m, follows ed almost immediately by a dance starting at 10:00 p.m. and lasting till 2:00 a.m. The dence part of the programme will be highlighted by real honest-to-goodness Square dances with an experienced member of the Range Riders doing the calling, The prices of admission are as follows: Com- ' bined ticket (Show and Dance) $1.25 per person, Show only .75¢ each - Dance only Children ,50¢,. This troupe has travelled over nearly all of the Western provinces doing shows in addition to playing free shows for several Hospitals, Homes for Crippled Children, Veteran's Hospitals and Sanitor- jums, Each year they are part of the famous Calgary Stampede and have had programmes on nearly all of the Radio Stations in the 4, Western Provinces, They have made several recordings for the Aragon Recordings of Vancouver including some original compositions of their own cast and are currently on their way to Montreal to cut some records for R.C.ii. Victor, The Riders are presently considering offers to tour England this Fall and Australie next Spring, Master of Ceremonies for the group is Bill "Dix" Hilton, who is also a singer of note and a guitarist. He composed "Don't Be Blue Linda Lou" for Aragon. The featured artist in the whole troupe is Buddy Reynolds, Aragon Recording Star for the pect five years, who has quite a number (continued on page 3)
