TERR!.CE BAY KIW.NIS "ROCKETTES" VICTORS IN BROOMB/LL CONTEST Playing 2. hends-up game last night in the Schreiber rena, the local Kiwcnis "Rockettes" downed the Schreiber Kinsmen 5 to 1 in . game of Broomball thet was very reminiscent of Water Polo at times, The Kiwanians, playing their typical "Powerhouse" brand of B-Ball showed that the great amount of experience they have gained in the past two years of elub competition is now paying off. (This geome was their third in two years). Their less experienced rivals from Schreiber found it difficult to hold Paul Boudreeu, Ray Williams & Co., to five goals. it is rumoured that the only team that has fallen victim to the Kinsmen team this year is the Kinettes Ladies' ,uxiliary to the Kinsmen's Club. In other words, their competition has not been of the calibre to prepare them for the Kiwanis onslaught. From Ed "Father" Cavanaugh(who is now playing his 84th yeer of organized B-Ball) right down to the Water Boy, the "Rock- ettes" showed power plus in their pass- ing plays and broom-handling ability. (Ed, Note:- Rumour has it that if some of the Hudson's Bay Co,'s Pro-B-Ball team had not been imported along with some ex- major league jill Stars from LongLac Po & P Co,, office, the Kiwanis "Rockettes" would have done little more than lick their lips, let alone lick the Kinsmen).
