Volume 6, No. 4 HOCK After a week's rest and a counle of practices thrown in for geod measure, the "Rockets" will journey into Schreiber on Saturday nizht to take on the "Deisels"™ in what should be one of the best games of the season. The last time that these two teams met, the Rockets lost out by a score of 4-1, Hewever, as anyone who saw that game will agree, our lads had a lot of hii luck that nisht and most certainly nad e distinct advantage of ths play all evening, Quite a few penalties came our way that night and it is hoped that with- out these costly penalties this Saturday, that the beys can bring home the bacon, 0-0-0 DO YOU VOLUNTEER? Plans are under Way to arranze for skating musie at the school rink each night | However, we do have to have an attendant there each nizht to maintain order and look after the regord playing equipment, This would only entail being at the rink from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m,, unlocking the equip- ; ment for use and seeing that it was put away preperly and re-lecked prior to going home, At present we have approximately 15 : persons who have volunteered to take their ; turne If we can get another 15, it would mean just one night per month which is not much ef a chore fer any one. ~'.ould you be interested in working on this scheme, please: give your name to Ossie Dalzell or ead the Personnel Office at Local 16 and leave your hafieSethere, Just as soon as the de- tails can be worked out yeu will be contac- ted and given the date of your night of duty, 1 o-0-e + te ge January 25, 1951 =Y GAME.
