Page 3 cont'd from Page 1; A Special feature of the event was the bake table groaning beneath the weight of cakes, cookies, cocoanut creations and other confectionery concocted by the Kiwanians. The master-piece of all this cooking was a three storied cake, arrayed like Joseph in a coat of many colors, baked by Jim McLeod of the Hudson Bay store. Receiving donations throughout the afternoon for the flood relief fund were Mrs. Clifford Knauff and Mrs. Gordon Page, representing the Women's Auxiliary of the Canadian Legion, The very gratifying proceeds from all sources; tea, sale of cooking and spoeial donations amounted to $296.50. The thanks of the Kiwanis Club is tendered to all who helped to make this effort such a success, 0-0-0 AT THE MOVIES Oporated by Alcana Theatres Limited, Shows at 7:15 p.m. on evenings indi- cated, Sat.,May 27 - 'APARTMENT FOR PEGGY".
