Pags 2 RECREATION OFFICE HAS NEV LOCATION 'The smell portion of tho Recreation: Hall on the Bowling Alley side is now the Recreation Office. Some alterations were completed and with a couple of coats of paint it is difficult now to recognize the place. The new space has accommodation for an office, a sports equipment storage and issuing room and a dead storage space for out-of-season equipment, All in all it is worth dropping around to pay a visit where Ossie Dalzell will be err to see you and learn your views and opinions. The new quarters will double in brass and serve as the Editorial Office for the Terrace Bay News, So if you have any ideas that may be news or are of a Recreational nature, why not drop around and get them off your chest? 0-0-0 SUNDAY SCHOOL FICNIC On Saturday afternoon, June 3rd, all the boys and girls of the Sunday School, their parents, and of course their little brothers and sisters, are invited to a picnic at Lake Superior Park. There will be races, prizes, ice cream and pop for the kiddies. Tea will be supplied by the Sunday School for the parents, It is requested that lunches be brought by each individual family, Every one will meet at the school at 1:30 p.m. where transportation will be available to take everyone to the park. The program will commence shortly after we arrive at about 2:15 p.m, After the races and gamos we will eat, sing some songs and be ready to come baek about 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. All parents who will be taking cars are asked to meet at the school at 1:30 to help transport the children to the picnic grounds, It would also be appreciated if those with cars who expect to go would notify any of the following in order that enough cars will be available: Mrs. John Wade, Mrs. Farish Hemeon, Mrs. Joan Graham, Mrs. Angus Bryans, Mrs. Middaugh, Mrs. Don Brearley, Mr. A. Elected were President - Mrs, A Farrow; Vice- President - Mrs. A. Bryans; Secretary-Treasurer - 'Mrs. R. C. Harris; District Director - Mrs. H, Goodfellow; Institute Directors - Mrs. A. R. Ostling, Mrs. W. Bailey and Mrs. H, Hall. AS en of the evening's business, Mrs.. Goodfellow gave a very interesting report from the District Director's meeting which relay attended at Fort William, Mrs. Ostling reported on the canvass for the Cancer Fund. The highlight of the evening was a demon- stration of Rug Hooking given by Mrs. K. McKay.
