Page 4 TOWN TID BITS It is with a reluctant goodbye that we say Adios to Lorne Woodard, the genial manager of Dominion Catering. Lorne has suddenly been transferred to a scene familiar to him from his Army days, Camp: Borden. After a short stay there, it is quite possible that he may be leaving the East to enjoy the sunny climes of the West Coast. In the meantime, while Lorne is getting settled, Mrs. Woodard and the baby will remain with us. The News joins in with all of the group and individuals who had the pleasure of | his kind co-operation on any matter which he could help with, in saying Thanks a Million, Lorne = somebody's gain is our loss, Lockie Lalonde came close to being the only resident to make a perfect score on the Bowling Alleys when he rolled a 426 game. Lockie rolled 11 consecutive strikes and a spare on the last frame. Hearty congrats - ole boy. Dick Hanson and Ralph Zachow have returned to Neenah after being with us for a shovt while. Dick was working on improvements on the Woodyard conveyor while Ralph had a much longer stay doing general advising in Maintenance, Mr, D, MacDonald, Chief Boiler Inspector who was with us during shutdown, has re- turned to Toronto, Messrs, R. L. Kennedy and A, T. Butler of the Dept. of Municipal Affairs have been making a routine visit with Frank Strutt at the Improvement District Office, Harry Pierce, Chief Planner of Kimberly Clark Corporation, who is a current visi- tor sddressed the Supervisors at the Monthly Supper last night, It is believed that he will also try to straighten out W. C. (Head-Pin) Rorsum before he leaves town, Frank Raw also of Kimberly Clark Corporation, Neenah, is currently with us to study the water problem, Mr, Losier of Combustion Engineering spent a few days with us to supervise the installation of the bottom of the Recovery Boiler and presently Messrs, R. R.
