Ladies' League On Tuesday afternoon, approximately 50 of our ladies from the Townsite ploughed through a blizzard to the alleys to show that they were enthusiastic bowlers. The League will get underway on Tuesday, January 17th at 2:00 p.m, with the fol- lowing teams opening competition:- Ivy Smethurst's Team vs, Mrs, Maitland's Hurricanes} Vivian Hanna's Lucky Strikes vs, The Temagami Twirlers captained by Mrs. Harry Hall. In order to have our league consist of eight teams, it was found necessary to take a few players away from their original teams to make up the eighth team, Notices will be posted in the Bowling Alley, showing which team you are on and when you bowl, so make a point of reading them before Tuesday, January 17th.
