With everyone on the alert, all the time, guarding against both "mechanical" and "human" hazards, the record of 100 safe days can be attain~ ede ACCIDENTS DO NOT HAPPEN, THEY ARE CAUSED AND CAN BE PREVENTED". 0-00 SPECIAL The sections are all ready for the Kids Rink at the School. These sections wild be assembled on Saturday afternoon, and due to the tremendous amount of work being done on the bowling alleys, etc., volunteers are needed to do this job. Please con- tact Jack Wellings immediately, because this rink must be completed soon due to the later ness of the season, 0-0-0 NOTES IN PASSING by "The Passerby". On one of our aimless walks around Town recently, . we happened to noticet~ the bright, colourful winter costumes on the youngest folk; the "Oh, darn it" expressions on their faces when the snow disappeared the last couple of days; the forlorn, yet expectant look of the skiis, toboggans and sleighs leaning against many homes; the nearly completed Garage and Offices of Terrace Bay Enterprises; the steel work starting bo rise at the new bank building; the nearly completed garages at the North Camp; the "Gee, I'd like to have a car in there", look of most of the bachelors up there; the closeness of the 100 day accident-free record and the extra fine production figures on the big board in the mill; the amount of noise emanating from the Bowling Alleys and the dreary look of the Ball Park and Skating Rink. Have you a special thing that you'd like us to note, here?? If so,. please tell ie and we!11 rush down to see it and then WRITE ABOUT IT in this column, Everybody in Terrac Bay is interested in Terrace Bay and we feel sure thet everyone would be interested in knoving some of the small things of life that go on all around us,
