The Terrace Bay Credit Union was founded with the prime purpose of providing a de~ finite savings and loan plan, whereby members could gain a measure of freedom from fin- ancial worries. The Credit Union Charter was granted by the Ontario Government, who must be satisfied that all rules, by-laws, etc., are for the benefit of all members. This ~ Gredit Union is a qualified member of the Ontario Credit Union League and of the Credit Union National Association of Ameriea. The main feature of this membership is that all monies deposited and all loans are guaranteed by these parent organizations. The Credit Union's books and accounts are inspected at wegular intervals by Government Inspectors and all laws applicable to Banks, Loan Organizations, etc., are enforced.
