---- ---- a A I A nee a ae NNT eee Volume 4, No. 40 October 27, 1949, on ee an a oe Ne ATTENTION BOWLERS Herc is the news that you!ve been waiting for, Permission has been received to install the alleys in the location now being used as the Beverace Room. While we don't expect to be bowling tomorrow or the next day, you have every assurance that the Recreation Committee and all others concerned with the instal- lation, will take advantage of every man-hour that is available for this project. For the information of all residents, the present plans are as follows: Beverage Roo to be moved to the old Recreation Contre, Bowling alleys to be installed in the space made vacant by that move. Old kitchen space between Theatre and new location of alleys to be remodelled to accomodate a larger Snack Bar and other recreational facilities. Tris proposed set-up will give us a much needed hub at which we can centre our recreational activities. Inaas- much as the bulk of the expense involved to make these changes is going to be borne by the Recreation Comittee, any person who feels that he would like to donate a couple of spare hours work toward a worthy project, will be welcomed most warmly by Jact Wellines or Ossie Dalzcll. Just pick up the phone and let them know what time you have available. In the meantime, plans are underway to organize a general meeting, at which time all bowlers will have the opportunity of voicing their opinion as to policy to be used to cover bowling activities. Watch the "News" for announcement of date and place of this meeting. o=0=0 COME ONE COME ALL TO THE HARVEST BALL FRIDAY ~ OCTOBER 28TH DANCING 10 PM = 2 AM MUSIC BY MARATHONIANS OLD TIME & NOVELTY DANCES SPONSORED BY ST.
