SOFTBALL ORGANIZ®S Girls! softball was organized for the current season at a meeting held in the Community Hall on May 31st and the first practice was held last evening. Plans call for the operation of Girls! Softball under the sponsorship of the Men's Softball Association and it is expected that there will be a minimum of two tcams with Marg Storey and Kay Faweett acting as captains, The team captains will choose their teams from Dominion Catering, LongLac and Town- site ladies, The two teams will be coached by Lorne Woodard and Bill Borsum and for the next two or three weeks, practices will be held at the North Camp Field, From these two teams an All Star team will be developed to represent Terrace Bay in ex- hibition games with outside teams. Some of the best entertainment provided at the ball field last season brought together girls' teams from the Lakehead and an All Star Terrace Bay girls! team al- though our girls were not able to break into the win column, they played excellent ball and there is every reason to believe that their efforts this year will prove to be more successful,
