Those present were - Herman Roberts, Ralph Buck, Wilf Ogden, Dr, Shaunessy, with Iiugh Boudreau representing Father Roenicke. The mecting was advised that the Community Church Board had elected to this Committee the Rev, Lavender as their representative. Father Roenicke was the elected representative for St, Martin's Men'?s Club. Herman Roberts was unanimously elected Chairman of the Committee as was Wilf Ogden, Secretary-Treasurer. The Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer will act as the signing body for whit will henceforth be known as "Terrace Bay Scout Committee", The Sceretary-Treasurer was interested to apply to the Provincial Scout Committee for a charter and also to purchase such books, etc., as required for the guidance of Scout and Cvb leaders, | Leaders were discussed and'chosen, and these will be. announced later at a meeting to be called inmediately for the purpose of cutlining plans with the Scout and Cub leaders for the registration of applicants and future activities of the two groups. It is expected and desired by this Committee that Cubs and Scouts will be well under way before commencement of the summer holidays, Parents of children who are interested in this movement and have not yet filled applications may do so by contacting the Secretary- Treasurer. i Age groups are as follows; 8 years to 12 years - Wolf Cubs. 12 to 18 years - Scouts. Boys attaining the age of 12 before-the end of 1949 will be eligible for Scouts.
