As the company pays the employee's pertion of the cost, no change will be noted, therefore, by single persons, while married persons will have an additional .30¢ deducted, When we note that hospital costs in Ontario have risen 50.4% since 1941, the necess- ity of this slight increase by the Plan for Hospital Care in neaintaining full benefits under the Blue Cross Plan may be readily understood. 0-0-0 VETERANS TO MET AG..IN NEXT MONDAY Last Monday evening in the Conmunity Hell, Terrace Bay veterans met to discuss the formation of a branch of the Canadian Legion and although the number present was somewhat disappointing, plens were made to discuss the matter again at a meeting which hes been celled for Monday, larch 7th. This meeting will also be held in the Community Hall and is scheduled to get underway at 7:45 pm, All veterans are urged to make a special effort to be present. 0-0-0 TEEN TOWN NEWS From all reports, all of the 31 boys and girls present had a wonderful time at the Teen Town get-together which was held last Saturday night in the Community Hall, This wes the first of the regular Saturday evening parties scheculed for Teen-Towners at which Senior Council members will take their turn in assisting with activities, Last Saturday night, Senior Council memhers present were Mrs. H. N. warsh, Mrs. W, W. Covington and Dr. J. 0, Shaunessy. Dues of 25¢ per month will be charged to all Teen-Towners and these dues are payable at the Teen Town meeting next Saturday night, at which cold drinks may be purchased. Last week, refreshments were provided by the Senior Council. 0-0-0 LETED IN THE RECRE..TION HALL DURING "/ESK OF MARCH 14 A considerable amount of renovating has been carried out in the Recreation Hall to date without disturbing many of the scheduled activities. In order to properly finish the floor, however, and complete the painting of the walls below the 6 ft. level, it will be necessary to cancel the show on Tuesday evening, Liarch 15th and also badminton on Wednesday evening, March 16th. On Thursday, March 17th the hall will not be available for booking. On Friday, March 18th it is expected that the movie will be shown as scheduled, ; 0-0-0 TERR.CE BAY LiDIES DEFZAT SCHREIBER AT CURLING Last Saturday afternoon, two Terrace Bay ladies! rinks journeyed to Schreiber for curling matches with Schreiber ladies and came out on the long end of the score in both games played. lirs. Ostling's rink which included urs, T. Jones, Urs, G. Bird and ilrs, W. Lowe defeated by a 10 - 6 score the Schreiber rink skipped by Mrs. Gilbert, with irs, Winters, 3rd; lirs. Forrest, end; and iirs. Van Koughnett, Lead. In the other game played, Mrs. J. Wellings rink earned a l4 - 7 victory over the rink skipped by Mirs, Furlonger which also included lirs, McQuaig, lirs. McKenitt and Mrs. Perkins, Irene Edmond, Ann VJallie and Terry Paulmert were the other Terrace Bay curlers. In both instances the games were much more keenly contested than the scores indicate.
