Jan, 14& 15 "BACKLASH" Starring two screen favourites in the leading yoles--Richard Travis and Jean Rogers. "WHY WON'T TOMMY EAT" A coloured film which should excite the interest of any parent. "MEN OF LUNENBURG" A colour film depicting the life of the Lunenburg settlement in Nova Scotia, Mon, and Tues, Jan. 17 & 18 "LADY FROM SHANGHAI" with Rita Hayworth and Orson Welles. An adventure film which is classed as super special entertainment with Orson Welles at his best. On the same program "Hollywood Cowboys", Fri. and Sat. Jan. 21 & 22 "ALEXANDERS RAGTIME BAND" featuring Tyronne Power, Alice Faye, Don Ameche, Ethel Merman, Jack Haley, Jean Hersholt and John Caradine, This is a revival of the musical that made musicals great, in fact it is the greatest box office musical of them all, "ALEXANDERS RAGTIME BAND" will always stand as perfection in the art of motion picture entertainment. Even though you may have seen it before, it is well worth seeing again, COMING SOON "ANOTHER PART OF THE FOREST" with Fredric Marei, Edmond O'Brien, Ann Blyth, Dan Duryea (an Academy Award winner). "IN OLD LOS ANGELES" with William Elliot, Catherine MacLeod and Andy Devine. "THE SIGN OF THE RAM" with Susan Peters, Peggy Ann Garner and Alexander Knox, "WINTERTIME" with Sonja Henie, Jack Oakie and Cornel Wilde.
