Hanna, Raymond Jones, Joe Diduch, It will be noted above that two additional coaches are needed and volunteers for the job will, of course, be sincerely welcomed, Referees and game officials will also be needed for North Shore League and House League games, and consideration is being given to the fee which will be paid for services so rondered, : A major portion of the equipment which will be required has now been ordered including a supply of hockey sticks end pucks. Of further interest is the fact that the rink is now being flooded and equipment lockers have been installed. Designs are now being considered for the sweaters to be used by the "Terrace Bay Rockets" in the North Shore League, and anyone interested in submitting a design is asked to do so within the noxt few days in order that the sweaters may be ordered for early delivery. The design should be in colour, bearing the name "Terrace Bay Rockets" on the front with the sweater number on the back. Payment of active membership fees by all those intending in playing hockey is most {important at this time since such fees must be paid prior to participation in House League or North Shore League games. The membership fee of 25,00 was set at a general mecting held Sunday, December 5th to which all hockey enthusiasts were invited. Fees are payable to the Secretary-Treasurer, Sldon Marostica, at the Administration Building, and membership cards now being printed will be issued on payment of dues. Extensive plans are also being made to conduct a membership drive for the "Booster Club" of the Hockey Association, Further plans have also been made with regard to the organization of minor league teams to be made up of Townsite youngsters. 0-0-0 COMMUNITY CHRISTMAS PARTY Invitations have been sent out and everything is in readiness for the Second Annual Terrace Bay Community Christmas Party which will be held in the Recreation Hall to-morrow evening (Friday, December 17th). Music will be provided by Maurice Jackson's famous All Girl Orchestra, which was so well received when it appeared at Terrace Bay a year ago. As indicated in this paper last week both north and south wings of the unit in which the Recreetion Hall is located will be utilized. Tables will be set up cabaret style in the north unit, while the entire floor of the Recreation Hall will be cleared for dancing from 10:00 pem. to 2:00 a.m. The floor show will be staged in two parts at 11:00 p.m. and LOO a.m. so that shift workers may see this part of the program. Since checking facilities will be located in the north wing everyone is requested to use the east entrance of this unit which was formerly the staff cafeteria entrance. This will greatly assist in keeping the dance floor in good condition for dancing. 0-0-0 A NOTE ABOUT CHRISTMAS TREES Almost everyone who visits Terrace Bay remarks about the beautiful forest setting surrounding the community made possible through a rigid program of tree conservation which has been in force at Terrace Bay since construction first began. Since no expense has been spared to retain the trees it will be readily understood by everyone in the community that during the Christmas season, the area where Christmas trees are not be be cut should be clearly defined. Trees should not be cut in the area bound by the Aquasabon River on the west, Leke Superior on the south, the Firebreak on the east, and old Highway #17 on the north, Ono ST MARTIN'S MEN'S CLUB TURKEY DRAW TO-NIGHT The turkey draw and auction sponsored by St Martin's iten's Club will be held to-night (Thursday, December 16th) in the Recreation Hall. No admission will be charged, Ticket holders must be in the hall when the draw is made in order to win.
