LOCATED IN SHOPPING CENTRE The Municipal Office of the Improvement District of Terrace Bay is now located in the Townsite Shopping Centre with an entrance from the Arcade. Until now the office, which is used by the town clerk Frank Strutt, has been located in the west"end of the Personnell Office. In future, all matters handled by Mr. Strutt should be referred to him at the new office location. Veitch have returned to Beaverton, Ontario, following their recant visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Feust, wr. and Mrs. Howard Bremer and Mr..John Hilgers all of Madison, Wisconsin. o-0-0 WHITE ELEPHANTS Hold it folks! The White Elephant Hunt is on again. November isn't very far away - brr - and lots of white clephants are needed for the Ladies! Auxiliary Fell Bazaar. Don't get us wrong «+ that's not all the ladies are planning for "The Bazaar", but more of that later. White Elephants can be left at 72 Lauricr Avenue - or given to one of the Marsh boys. 0-0-0 TENNIS COURT CHATIER Members of the Terrace Bay Tennis Club stand to derive considerable benefit fromthe instructions being given currently by Gordon Stewart and Pete Heintskill. The instructors in question are doing an excellent job of oassing along the finer points of the game to less experienced players, and their efforts "re sincerely appreciated by Club members. Within the next day or so, information will be posted on the Tennis Court Bulletin board related to the forthcoming Doubles Tennis Tournament. 0-0-0 N/ TIONAL FILM BOARD CREW AGAIN AT TERRACE BAY During the next few days, persons associcted with the Hydro and LongLac pro- jects at Terrace Bay will again see a three man crew from the National Film Board taking "moving pictures" and "stills" of the two developments, The orignal crew visited here early in the summer, With the completion of the "shooting" this time, the movies will be released through the major news reel organizations in Canada, United States and elsewhere. The present crew consists of Nat Clavier and Wilfred Doucette (two of the original party) and Bob Campbell, a cameraman. We feel sure that everyone will again do their utmost to cooperate. : -- 0-0-0 ANOTHER HONEST MAN For the second week in a row, we are pleased to note in Terrace Bay News an incident which certainly bears reporting. On Tuesday evenin in the Hudson's Bay Store, Metro Kawule came across a $100,00 American bill ona display counter while looking through a pile of sport shirts. Metro promptly turned the brill: 3.09 the store manager. Clerks were questioned and a description was given of an Ame rican visitor who had made a purchase at the particular counter earlier in the day. The Police Department at Terrace Bay was then notified and within a matter of minutes the American visitor was located and the bill returned to him. Tho action of Metre Kexule in turning in the money is certainly to be admired and it prompts us to again note: "Who said there were no honest men left in the world?"
