In a postponed game last Friday night, Klubbers played superb ball end took advantage of a number of breaks to eke out a 10-9 win over the Comets who needed the game to move into first berth in the league following the Hydro win over Steam Fitters (18-13) the previous night. A 6-2 victory Monday evening against Whammics put Comets ina second place tie with their rivals of the evening and as the team standings indicate the league leadership is very much in doubt at the moment. As eveyone knows, swimming in Lake Superior is somewhat of an ordeal, and except for a fow lakes west of Schreiber, swimming in the inland lakes is next to impossible due to heavy undergrowth on the lake shores. In view of the above conditions it was quite natural for youngsters in particuler to want to take advantage of the rise in the water level behind the new Hydro -dam where Terrace Lake is rapidly forming. But swimming in the new lake, particularly in the Dam and Jack scinohae areas is definitely dangerous, and parents are urged to warn their children about the anger. When Terrace Lake is completely flooded in the near future, there will be a safe swimming area for children where old highway #17 (the former roed to Schreiber) runs into the east side of Terrace Lake, A large area has been cleared of underbrush and growth right down to sand and the final result should be a sand bottom swimming area extending out to booms ebout 300 feet from what will be the lake shore. The water in this safe area is not expected to exceed three fect in depth. In the meantime, let's be careful about swimming in dangerous areas. With care and common sense drownings can be averted,
