League and the Terrace Bay All Star girl's team was played as scheduled with the inexperienced locals going down to defeat twice before two large crowds of softball enthusiasts, There is no reason why we should make apologies for the Terrace Bay girls. It was their first attempt as a group against an outside girl's team and they picked the stiffest opposition they could find in the Rockettes, who last year were winners of their league and who at last report were tied for first spot in the Lakehead League this year. The Rockettes won the first game by a 14-1 count and in the second game scored an 18-10 win.
