Last September, when the present school term began, grade school was opened for the first time in the community using as temporary facilities two townsite housesi Until that time all school pupils had been transported daily to school in Schreiber, a practice which is still followed with Continuation School Pupils. By the time the next school term commences in September of this year it is expected that the seven room school now under construction will be ready for use. The new school will include all grades from kindergarten up to and including Grade 8. In addition to Mr, and Mrs, Clarence Smith who have been the teachers at the school during its first term of operation, three additional teachers have been engaged for the new school and their duties will commence in September.
