In recent weeks, Northern and Northwestern Ontario heve experienced the worst spring forest fires in years and while it is known that some fires have been started by lightning, others have definitely resulted from carelessness on the part of smokers, campers and mem- bers of picnic parties. We would again urge that everyone take every known precaution to eliminate any possibility of a forest fire caused by carelessness. When you have anything to do with a camp fire,.....use lots of water - make doubly sure 2G LS: OUGs When you are putting out a cigarette, cigar or pipe.....crush out ashes on rock, When you put out a match.....break it in two and hold it Unb Ate hS eoldy HELP PREVENT FOREST FIRES.«e+eIT PAYS
