Shemanski - Hudson Drive. For a number of days, townsite residents, knowing of the dog's disappearance, kept an eye open for "Jiggs" whe was strictly a home-loving dog, not used to the rigors of outdoor life. By the time a week had passed everyone had just about given up hope of ever secing the dog again alive. Last Saturday the fishing season officially opened. Shortly after dinner two fishing enthusiasts, brothers Paul and Hubert Boudreau, set out for a cove on the shore of Lake Superior hoping to return with a speckled beauty or two, While fishing in one cf their "favourite spots" they were attracted by an animal atop a rocky cliff forty to fifty feet above them, There was "Jiggs", Not accustomed to the great outdoors, he had apparently become lost and for nine days had wandered about the bush subsisting on vegetation, We can assure everyone that the homecoming was a happy one, O06 BASEBALL DOINGS A number of hardball players met in the Personnel Office on Tuesday evening May 4th and decided to call a practice cf all hardball players at Terrace Bay for Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. The committee in charge consists of Bert Dyck, Chairman; John Schritt, Vice-Chairman, and Hugh Chesley, Secretary.
