This week, we had our first snow flurries at Terrace Bey, Just when the first heavy snowfall will come is anyones guess. It may be soon - it may be a couple of months away. Because of the uncertainty, it's not too soon to think of the housecleaning around the job which should be done before the snow falls. We are thinking of tools, equipment and supplies which should be moved inside or winterized. . It's surprising how difficult it is to locate things after they are buried under a foot or so of snow. Even more important is the need for the type of housecleaning that will eliminate hazards which might result in serious accidents. Protruding nails are a decided hazard at any time - much more so when covered by snow. Building material improperly piled or placed are doubly hazardous when winter comes.
