Johnson, the Townsite Electrical Engineer, is preparing his heme for the arrival of Mrs. Johnson this week. -o0o- At the present time there are fifty-four houses oecupied, forty-one are private homes, twelve are staff houses and one is an isolation ward. This may be a small community but the traffic on the streets and roads is heavy. Parents are advised to keep their children off the streets during working hours. Pedestrians walking along the roads should always face the oncoming traffic. It may mean that you will take a few more steps a day but those ateps will make it safer for you and the drivers. -o00- George DeLong, one of the first gioneers of our community, underwent a serious operation at the Terrace Bay Hospital. We all wish you a speedy reeovery, George. A. Stewart is back in Terraee Bay after a few days at the Lakehead. We wonder why the men of the town have their meals in camp when thejr wives are away. -o00- If you happen to spot balloons floating about the townsite, don't be alarmed. It's not an invasion! They are hydrogen-filled balloons that the Townsite Engineers are using for proposed locations of a water tower. The last balloon I saw was on its merry way toward Jackfish. -o0o- Ontario Construction is off to a good start on the basements of the 1947 homes, Nine base~ ment slabs have been poured. The sites for forty-two of the seventy-five houses projected this year have been cleared. ~e0ee You too can be a "man"!
